Dr. Nelly Mugo (pictured below with fellow SuperShero Renee Heffron) inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in February 2015 for her dedication to bringing a woman controlled HIV prevention method to the world. Dr. Mugo leads several clinical trials in Kenya, providing an integrated treatment and prevention approach to HIV-affected couples. In this role, she leads the cutting edge conversation and shapes what a future free of HIV might look like.
