While in Seattle last week for a work trip, my sister hooked me up with the Act Now street art team. Boom! I've always wanted to wheatpaste, even mixed up a batch once. But it went bad before I could coordinate getting the glue, my art and the kids on the street under the cover of night.  In Seattle, two fine gentlmen picked me up at my hotel in a jeep and off we went. They handed me a pair of gloves and a brush with a long handle.  Over several hours we hit two locations, branding the plywood with the Act Now art.  I was reminded the fun of anonymity, the gritty joy of being on the street at night, and why love public art and expression.  I've brought home some Act Now buttons, as a token of the night fun and reminder to get back on the street. Act Now.
