Lock heart collab at Van Ness & Market

Heart lock fence collaboration with @toddah.sf 🔒 ❤️ Check out the second heart made of locks at Van Ness & Market. 🔐As life would have it, while we were working on the second heart, engaging with passersby to join in the creation, @gypsy_joaquin_esslowly stopped by. Jamie & Todd have been co-creating the first heart over the last 9 years: paint, more locks, ribbon, and unexplained fire burning the ribbons. This was the first time they met in person. 👏🏽Jaime has an art opening Tuesday June 4th 5-8 at Tilden Hotel, Pride month family reunion. 🙌🏽As we hung out, Todd shared his observations from years of interactive art: about 10% of people are curious. You can’t guess by age, socio economic status, gender, time of day, etc. ✨Stay curious. So fun to engage with those who did stop. From the parking lot attendant who became a creative director of lock placement, to those who wrote on their locks, to those who shared their connection with this corner. ⭐️I am so grateful there are still some chain link fences left. So grateful for street artists. Ever captivated by curious people. And this thread of connectivity that keeps us close to one another. 💫#lockheart #loveyou2
