I love you surfer girl for inspiring me to wake up before the sun and dive into that cold water. I remember often your sage advice on turning. "Turning is easy. Face your board the direction you want to go. Paddle, paddle, pop up and then LOOK in the direction you want to go and you'll go there."Perhaps 2013 is my year to turn but in the meantime as I walk around on land I think of you and face the direction, metaphorically paddle, paddle, pop and LOOK. Seems to work in the rest of life, as well.Here's to riding the waves in and out of the water. XO
