BeLinda Richardson and Dolores Benton

inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in March 2019. BeLinda and Dolores are the Pediatric AIDS Prevention Chicago Initiative/PACPI longest employees - having served as field case managers for 14 and 15 years respectively.

In this capacity, BeLinda and Dolores spend their entire work week in the field: in the homes with clients, supporting clients with getting to medical and social services appointments, and connecting clients with resources to assure women living with HIV have the support they need to thrive. While their individual longevity at the work alone, is worth recognizing. What is truly remarkable about both BeLinda and Dolores is their deep skills, profound curiosity, willingness to listen, and their capacity for seeing possibility as part of the outcomes. BeLinda and Dolores set the tone for PACPI's staff and inspire a standard of service that is nothing short of inspiring.

About the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude

“The plain fact is that the world does not need more successful people, but it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane.” David Orr

I deeply admire those who "live well in their places." The ordinary and the unsung who offer to the world the very best parts of themselves without expectation.

This is a beautiful expression of love in her calm, persistent, generous manner - offering a ripple of change (a metamorphosis) to the world.

Inductees to the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude are caped in recognition of their contributions to a love-filled world.
