SuperShero: Trina Scott
This photo from behind is one of my favorite cape pics ever. Trina can rock that cape like no one before or since.Trina (middle) pictured with fellow SuperSheros Faith Landsman and Amy Raspatello.Trina Scott inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in December 2016for her work asProgram Manager, Health Communications and Media Partnerships at Kaiser Family Foundation in Washington, DC. She is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with national leadership and community organizations, managing large-scale community activations, and serving as primary as the liaison with Greater Than AIDS Ambassadors. In this role, Trina assured the meaningful inclusion of women, including transwomen, experienced reframing stimga and shame to empowerment and wisdom. Her work is proof that through storytelling we can change bias and correct misinformation about HIV.
About theLove Superhero Hall of Gratitude
“The plain fact is that the world does not need more successful people, but it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane.” David OrrI deeply admire those who "live well in their places." The ordinary and the unsung who offer to the world the very best parts of themselves without expectation. This is a beautiful expression of love in her calm, persistent, generous manner - offering a ripple of change (a metamorphosis) to the world. Inductees to the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude are caped in recognition of their contributions to a love-filled world.
