Dr. Anitra Denison, Perinatal HIV Director for Washington DC, inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in May 2015 for her compelling work ito assure women living with HIV, particularly those who are pregnant, are connected to and receive the highest quality of care. Following several babies being born with HIV in the District, Dr. Denson led the efforts to implementing a case review, including the mother's perspective, to understand and correct the gaps in the medical and social service system. Dr. Denson is readily available for consultation and advocates for comprehensive services for women in the District.
