inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in December 2018 during the altMBA coach's summit.

A few months ago, Covington started a podcast: People Like Us. The show is about altMBA alumni learning who they were before the altMBA program, how they changed during the altMBA and what they are up to next. I had the delight of participating in a podcast myself. Through the course of the conversation, I imagined that I was the coolest person Covington knows. And vastly interesting.  Covington makes you feel that way when you are in the podcast box with him. As I talked to other alumni, they felt similar. I think each of us had our own story that we were a favorite or special.  Through the podcast, Covington is not only shining a mirror on people and reflecting back to them their worth and brilliance—but he is also connecting the alumni into a thicker web of wonder as he is bringing out detail and nuance in the interviews that you might not otherwise know about the person.  In the days leading up to the altMBA coach's summit, it became so clear to me that Covington's offering is creating ripples of wonder throughout the world.

About the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude

“The plain fact is that the world does not need more successful people, but it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane.” David Orr

I deeply admire those who "live well in their places." The ordinary and the unsung who offer to the world the very best parts of themselves without expectation.

This is a beautiful expression of love in her calm, persistent, generous manner - offering a ripple of change (a metamorphosis) to the world.

Inductees to the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude are caped in recognition of their contributions to a love-filled world.
