inducted into the Love Superhero Hall of Gratitude in May 2019. Celeste has committed a decade of her life to answering the question, "How do human beings remake their lives after individual and/or structural trauma, and what conditions best support transformative change?”

In partnership with women living with HIV, Celeste has developed a paradigm-shifting model understanding the process from surviving to thriving, providing a roadmap for policy makers, providers and programs to make investments in structural supports that radically change lives. Look for her groundbreaking work in her forthcoming book: Remaking a life: How women living with HIV confront inequality.  I look forward to this new paradigm being the starting point from which new ideas begin.
