Friday I packed up the love and headed over the bridge for Oakland Art Murmur. The first Friday of each month several blocks in the arts district of Oakland are closed to traffic. Galleries are open, food vendors and crafts on the street streets - plenty of good madness abounds. I thought the love might have a home among this crew.

I had so much fun hanging up love notes and chatting with people that I RAN OUT OF LOVE. This rarely happens. I'll have to return next month with more.

I was thrilled to see a quilted wall hanging with the koi fish stencils of Jeremy Novy, the street artist who taught me how to cut stencils.  Loved the eletrical box painted with "You are beautiful." The vintage refrigerator doors turned art, very nice!

Expect great things, you are enough, in all my life, everything will be okay, and love is the answer now hang in Oakland. Oh, and the keys....a simple of opportunity. For you! I want the upside down key.

There was a little dancing in the street....

and bikes locked up on the fences.  As I was leaving Art Murmur for the next adventure I saw lots of i love you, too signs with all the tabs removed, a few customized, and at the 25th Street Collective someone had been super crafty and cut out a heart.
