Ms. Arroyo's classroom: get love. give love. in action

Ms. Arroyo and I dance samba together. She is a stunning creature inside and out with an open heart and graceful way of living in the world. Last fall in preparation for the Dia de los Muertos altar, her elementary school students generously sent notes to be included as I built the altar - giving an example to others of how they might participate. Some of the most stunning notes in the Instagram feed from that time period are from her students.It turns out, her students have kept using the love notes in the classroom to write notes to and about each other. (Goosebumps!) Friday, Ms. Arroyo was presented with a strip of love notes to HER. But, of course. It's the "get love. give love." concept in action. You receive or learn to receive love (she is a fountain of love for those youth) and then you can give it in return.Beautiful. This is what it all about.
