Luigi the Lovebird is passionate about shredding paper into perfect serrated strips. He uses his beak like a sewing machine needle, piercing the paper and working back and forth until the strip falls free from the paper. Sidekick Mary McQueen takes Luigi's awesome shredding and crafts whimsical collages. Together they make unique greeting cards by "hand and beak".Luigi personally "sends" love cards to people all around the world including kids (and sometimes adults) in hospital, siblings of sick children, and underprivileged children in various programs. Kids love getting cards from a little yellow bird! Most recently Luigi "sent" greetings saying "You Rock" to a group of at-risk children enrolled in an animal sanctuary progrm. The cards were delivered to a special mailbox by the horse barn and the children were asked to visit the mailbox on their way to lunch. Their faces lit up with delight when they opened their personal greetings! Everyone loves to get a card in the mail.
