It's hard to put this into words. Okay. Maybe it's actually not. The month of February was my dream life. During the month of February I had my art on display in a gallery in Union Square (c'mon, how many street artists can claim this?). THANK YOU TO LORI TENNY OF YOU CARING. Proceeds from the sale of the art went to HIVE: a hub of positive reproductive and sexual health (we raised over $4,000 for the beyond amazing clinic and program I direct at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital). The closing reception for the gallery exhibit we TOOK THE ART to the street and installed love notes about downtown. Seriously. With complete strangers who answered the call over the internet. To document the awesome adventure that was the Leap of Love, here is a slide show that tells the story.  On leap day, we gathered at the You Caring Compassion in Action art gallery and customized the love notes. Each one of our You Caring crowd funding donors was acknowledged on a sign. I then disclosed the (potentially illegal) nature of our ventures out into the streets and allies of downtown San Francisco. Then we divided into four teams, each with a captain experienced in renegade activities (yo, Noah, Bob and Caroline!). Armed with maps marked with locations ideal for destination art hangings, the teams dispersed. We met again at Super Duper for dinner and story swapping.  Highlight of the evening? Hanging the mailbox with perfection in an alley.  Mailbox was full of love notes written at the You Caring Compassion in Action gallery. Brilliant!
