Belonging Week: Valley Oaks Elementary

It is love week at Valley Oaks Elementary.

Led by teacher Kim Lambe all 800 students spend a week both feeling & creating belonging.

They watch the #loveyou2 mini documentary (thanks Steve Olpin for making it....look what has happened!) and then go about creating a massive love note installation.

On Thursday the teachers wear T-shirts they have made with inspiring statements (see below for a pic from last year).

This is a dream come true. The world sprinkled with love notes. What is the ripple of feeling belonging? What do we learn when we create belonging?
